ABSOLUTELY BEAUTIFUL!
Absolutely beautiful lamp. My mother had one of these in her office years ago. Hers was brass with a green glass shade. And I loved it. I wanted one like hers, but I saw this one with the pale colored shade and absolutely fell in love with it. The glass is very thick and has streaks and swirls in it. It is so beautiful. Pictures cannot do it justice. It must be seen in person to fully appreciate it. And it is impeccably made. The highest quality imaginable in a bankers lamp. I just got it but so far so good. I can literally see handing this down to one of my children. Absolutely beautiful. I dressed it up with a skeleton key if you can see it. The bulb I put in mine is a T45 Edison bulb soft white LED by Better Homes and Gardens. I love this beautiful bankers lamp!

Sturdy elegance and quality
Beautiful lamp, we have purchased several desk lamps, trying to get the right light for paperwork. Not only is this light attractive but, finally we have the right amount of light to work on paperwork, or other serious, focused work. The lamp has a small footprint, taking very little space on the desktop, yet casts light over the entire desk without being a distraction to anyone near. Love the pull chain for an old fashioned touch. Best of all, the sale price made it a must buy😉The subtle elegance it adds to the desk is worth the price. Very pleased with this purchase 😊

Most desk lights did fit. Decades ago I had a desk lamp . White glass shade, dull brass and the switch looked like an oil lame. Last year the switch failed. When I looked for a replacement, all I seemed to find were LED touch control that gave little light. I wanted more. What I call a “banker lamp” came up on a search. More like those found in libraries, it gave plenty of of light. In fact the bulb from my old lamp fit fine. Good product, lots of light, and a credit to my office

authentic, not cheap, look
Beautiful lamp! I was wary about how well it would stand up but it's very, very sturdy - don't worry about it. I was also wondering how strong the pull chain would be, but after a few months of use it still seems fine. I like the fact that even after the lamp has been on all day, the glass doesn't heat up. The one con about this is that it is difficult to find a lightbulb for it. This was priced somewhere between pricey and very reasonable, and it's worth it.
