Makes an excellent house purse
This review is for "WGEAR Travel Toiletry Bag ... (Black, A)". If you find this review linked to a different product, please disregard the review. I ordered this with the intention of using it as a "house purse," a way for neurodivergent people like myself to avoid losing keys, credit cards, medicines, you name it. For the most part it works great for that purpose. The outside material is smooth nylon, the kind that feels water resistant and pleasantly cool to the touch. The zippers are among the best I've used on this kind of bag - super smooth and easy to open and close, and they've never once caught on the outer or inner material. The center divider, the one that cuts the main compartment into two square-ish sides, helps a lot as a house purse, but it does limit you a little in that you can't put something longer (like a tablet, or a ruler) in there. I tried using the shallow back pocket for my tablet once, but that was a mistake - the back pocket is waterproofed plastic, and it almost made the tablet overheat. Since I want to be able to reach into my bag throughout the day without unzipping the pockets, I just partially unzip the two top pockets and then tuck their flaps down inside the bag, which works pretty well. The small inner open pockets are fantastic for those times when I want to reach into the bag blindly and be able to pull out what I need; for example, I'm on the highway and I need to pull out my glucose reader to check my blood sugar. I have to do it, pulling off the highway isn't necessary, but I don't want to take my eyes off the road to shuffle around in the bag. I can just reach into the lefthand side, back small pocket, and there it is. This bag absolutely has features that make it great for toiletries too, but I hope this info is helpful for someone like me who needs to use it off label. 🙂

The bag is super roomy - much larger than I thought it would be so I am really happy about that. There are all sorts of pockets, zippered compartments and elastic to hold items upright. There are plastic compartments to keep liquids contained, so if they spill, they won't ruin everything in the bag. The mesh pockets allow you to easily see what is in the pockets. The bag is kind of squishy -soft and not too structured when there is nothing in it, but as soon as your fill it up you can see just how big it really is. There are two primary, individually zippered sections in the middle, a side section with multiple mesh pockets and a zippered pocket, another side section that is entirely waterproofed. This bag is much more than a makeup bag. There are a wide variety of uses for a bag like this! The initial on it is really nice, and not smeared or blurry looking. This would make a great gift for a friend or family member. The price is really fair for what you are getting with this bag. I love it!

The bag is sturdy but still light, and the zippers are of good quality. The main area of the bag has a double zipper, which is great. I also like how the side pocket has a plastic inner coating for any liquid-type materials. Overall, you get what is described on the page here, and all the photos do it justice. The letters with the roses is just a print, but it looks nice. What I like most about the bag is that it is somewhat custom - with the letter of your choice. That is what makes it great compared to the countless other bags out there. The bright letter and roses add that unique touch. Overall, it is just a convenient bag for easy carry and easy cleaning.
