So this is my second pair of gaming headphones, first pair from Turtle Beach. My previous pair of headphones was a pair of Quantum ONE. Between the terrible software, poor audio quality, lack of wireless support, overall poor fit, and having to keep them wired, the Turtle Beach Stealth Pro II is like a night and day improvement. I also own a pair of Airpods Max and the 60mm Eclipse Dual drivers are right on par with the audio quality from those when using the Treble and Bass Boost setting on the Swarm II app. I couldn't get the Quantums to even come close to this level of fidelity. The only thing that is missing apart from the Quantums and the Max, is head position tracking. It may be a gimmick for some, but I really enjoy being able to turn my head when watching a movie or listening to music and having the sounds stage stay in place for that added depth effect. The certified High Res audio is crispy clear and there is good depth and range, the bass is especially impressive when turned up in the EQ settings and i think it thumps a bit better than the Max. Lets get on to a few other details for this review... Software: Turtle Beach has the Swarm II app that you can control and tune these with for both PC and mobile platforms. The headphones and transmitter base will require a firmware update the first time you use the software and it can take about 15 minutes to complete. I really like how the smartphone app can be used to update and adjust the settings on the headphones even if the headphones aren't paired to the phone itself. On the PC app, you can actually install two different audio drivers, the Turtle Beach driver designed for the ultimate gaming audio experience, and the Dolby Audio driver for music, movies, and everything else. This is a bit confusing because there are three different components to the Dolby driver, the first being the Swarm II app, the second being the Dolby OEM driver from the Windows Store, and the third being the Dolby Access app from the Windows Store. Once you get all three of them installed, there are different audio controls in the Dolby Access app and there is a Dolby Audio toggle in the Swarm II app under the Dolby driver for Dolby Audio. The software also features a 10 bar equalizer for choosing between 4 built in presets and being able to tweak it on your own and add configurations for both the speakers and the microphone. Batteries and charging base/transmitter: Having two batteries and two usb compatible transmitters out of the box with this headset is awesome. The batteries come about 30% charged so you will be able to try the headphones out right out of the box, but you won't be able to update the firmware on them until you give it an hour or so to charge up. The charging base shows the status of the charge with a led ring around the eject button to pop the battery out. Swapping batteries out is a snap, simply pop the left side cover off with your fingers and change the battery pack out. The charging base also has a circular led around the perimeter to indicate the status of the audio quality, and if the mic is muted or not. I was a bit confused at first as i was looking for the purple light to make sure i was getting the highest quality signal and it was just flashing red. It took me a moment to realize that was because i had the boom mic flipped up and the flashing red indicates that the mic is muted. One thing i don't care for on the base is that when the headset disconnects, the light flashes rapidly for about 5 minutes to indicate that the headset is off. It is a bit too bright and annoying for me and the only way to stop it is to disable the status led completely in the Swarm II app. Microphone: The detachable 9mm mic is probably the best microphone i have used on a headset. It connects securely with a mini usb connector and it extremely flexible and adjustable. The audio quality really is like having a studio mic in front of you and the clarity is excellent. You can even adjust the eq in the app, set sensitivity, and a noise gate level for filtering out baseline background noise, heavy breathing, etc. Comfort: These headphones have great comfort around my big ears and the pads are soft and plush. Overall, they feel lighter than my other two pairs of headphones and wearing them for hours at a time should be no issue. The pads don't appear to be removable, but they are fabric and not vegan leather so they should last quite a bit longer than your standard gaming headphones. The fabric also doesn't get too warm from extended use. Compatibility: The coolest part of these headphones for me is the ability to have two devices connected at the same time. Connect your XBOX or PC with one of the included transmitters and then connect a phone or PlayStation over Bluetooth. Once the are paired, it just works and you can control the audio volume for each source individually. Transmitter on the dial on the left and bluetooth on the right side. Switching between the usb transmitters is easy with the press of the source button on the headphones. Case: The included carrying case fits everything inside like a glove. Everything is presented very nicely and there are custom cutouts for each accessory. The packaging is also very minimal and i am glad there isn't a ton of plastic waste. The case doesn't have a handle on ti and you'd need a decent sized backpack to stuff it in if you wanted to do so. What else.... I am sure I am missing a couple things here, these headphones are so packed with features and they do a superb job at every single thing. Noise cancellation is excellent, comfort and audio quality are excellent, batteries are long lasting and the ability to add multiple transmitters for all your devices is amazing. Turtle Beach doesn't want you to have to take these things off and they make a pretty convincing argument. You won't be disappointed with the Stealth Pro II.

Wow? Ja, wow, ich bin absolut begeistert!!!

Wow, ich bin begeistert, ich habe schon einige Kopfhörer, Studiokopfhörer sowie auch Gaming Headsets ausprobiert. Von subtileren Asus Kopfhörern mit schönen RGB, über Steelseries Omni, Beyerdynamics, sei es die "günstigeren" 700 Pro, die extra fürs Gaming MMX 300, Hifiman Studiokopfhörer für 2000 EUR, für 400 die Sundara (offene), mit Verstärker etc. Bei den Steelseries Omni habe ich z. B. mal festgestellt, wie hilfreich es ist für Steps bei Hunt Showdown, dass man hier die EQ einstellt. Und jetzt das hier... Ich habe bei Techne einem Youtuber diese Kopfhörer gesehen, dachte ok, die versuchst du mal, ich bin ja an sich a audiophil. Dann setzte ich mir die neuen TurtleBeach hier auf. Nachdem ich gesehen, habe dass der The Techne davon so begeistert war. Und ja ich weiß nun wieso. Der Klang ist atemberaubend, für Kopfhörer mit Funk, kein Verstärker, der Bass ist der Wahnsinn, Musik hört sich grandios an, sei es Hans Zimmer, Techno, 80er, Rock was auch immer ich bin hier schon begeistert und was soll ich sagen Ingame? Ja, absolut ich dachte so, mhh ja Steps hören etc. der Typ ist kein typischer Youtuber für Kopfhörer, eher für allgemeine Infos über neue Hardware etc. aber was soll ich sagen, die Steps bereits in Youtube-Game-Videos, und an sich die Sounds sind sooo gut zu orten. Habe ich noch nie gehabt. Die Kopfhörer sind zwar mit 350 EUR nicht günstig, aber lohnen die sich? Absolut. Habe mir die weiße Version für die Xbox geholt, weil ich ein weißes PC-Setup habe, und die sind dafür einfach mit Mehrwert. Klare Kaufempfehlung, obwohl ich noch nicht einmal mit den Sound oder EQ gearbeitet habe, ist der Standard Turtlebeach Signature Sound bereits sehr gut abgestimmt. Achja ein Problem gab es, ich habe die Software Swarm 2 installiert, gab direkt ein Update für die Software, dann wollte er die Kopfhörer und die Station updaten, erst gab es eine Fehlermeldung, erneut angestoßen, dann hingt der bei 0 % fest. Habe entsprechend den PC ausgeschalten nochmal probiert, hilft alles nichts, holt euch die App auf das Handy, die Verbindung kommt instant, dann über das Handy beides updaten, hierzu muss der PC eingeschalten sein oder die Konsole, wo auch immer ihr die Ladestation angeschlossen habt, die ja auch als Dongle bzw. Empfänger funktioniert, neben dem kleinen Dongle, das es so dazu gibt. Daraufhin updated ihr beides einfach über das Handy, nachdem ich das getan habe und den PC später wieder eingeschaltet habe, hat Swarm II auch das Headset nicht nur erkannt, sondern auch ausgelesen, sodass ihr über die PC Software die Settings optimieren könnt, und auch die Akkuanzeige einem im Task angezeigt werden kann. Komischerweise war die ganze Zeit das Problem, dass der zwar das Headset angezeigt hatte, aber meinte es sei nicht verbunden gewesen, habe glaube ich, wenn ich mich richtig entsinne hinten die Taste auf Xbox und dann wieder PC geschaltet, achja das Headset war nachdem Neustart vom PC automatisch aus, meine Station blinkte weiß, hab das Headset dann nachträglich eingeschaltet und zack, alles war da, die Einstellungen, die Batterieanzeige etc. Also dann, viel Spaß allen, die sich für dieses geniale Headset entscheiden.

Works great in office & on meetings

So far I'm in love with this headset. My main driver was dual audio, although this has proven very helpful in an office environment. I do think they sound great. I didn't realize there was a xbox and PC version, I with amazon would have had them as the same product listing but a selection to make it more clear. I would have bought the PC version, although I can't say I'm really missing the enhanced sound quality. They do sound very nice. Features I love: Noise gate on the mic: I was getting a lot of background noise from neighbors while on teams meetings, now I can adjust the noise gate until their chatter isn't picked up Mic Monitor: Keeps me talking at an appropriate volume when I am in a meeting and wearing over the ear headphones Dual Connectivity: I love having music playing through my phone and still being able to hear computer notifications, and be in meetings If they came out with a bone conductive headset with dual connectivity, mic gate, & mic monitor, I would buy it. Otherwise I hope to get multiple years of enjoyment from this.

Elite Gaming Headset

Really great sound quality and mic quality for a headset. Competes with the best gaming headsets in the space. It is comfortable but 1 downside is it could be more comfortable. Love how it comes with 2 batteries so you can charge one, while using the other. So essentially your headset will never die. Not tons of cables/wires for a docking station like the Astro A40-A50. The Stealth Pro 2s come with a tinny charging station about 1 inch tall and as round as a cup so not big at all and only 1 cable. Also I like how there’s an easy to use app you can download on your phone with lots of customization options to customize the sound to your liking.
