Large print Diabetes Cookbook
A LARGE print cookbook and very well taken photos of the food items. The book provides you single serving recipes, 100+ of them, a grocery listing and an explanation of what diabetes is and how you can control it by the food you eat. Excellent information on meal planning, most of the recipes take less than 30 minutes to prepare. Simple meals that support a stable blood sugar and which foods to avoid. A good direction to follow when you don’t know what to eat or to avoid along with ingredient swaps to make something not taste like cardboard. I remember in my past some foods tasting like cardboard or rubber bands; this book’s photos makes my mouth want to eat this recipe. It provides the serving size, calorie count, net carbs, sugar and protein and fiber numbers and time to prepare each recipe. Even advice when you are dining out and making wise choices. Looking forward to creating these yummy recipes.

Great cookbook for senior
It’s an enjoyable book that seems to have been written by somebody who has seriously considered how tough it can be to cook with diabetes if you live alone and are dealing with age issues as well. Single portion dishes to avoid waste, big print so there is no need to squint, pictures of every single dish in color, and majority of recipes taking 30 minutes to make — it is definitely written to solve some real-life problems, not to just offer diabetic recipes. It helps to eliminate any uncertainty about what food to purchase due to the 4 weeks meal plan and grocery list that comes together with the book.
