I am very picky when it comes to making purchases on anything to do with my travelling or business needs in general. With that being said, I am really impressed with this backpack. I was looking for something that would be more beneficial to me than the typical briefcase type of bags for work & travel. Being a small business owner, I am always on the go and rarely in the same place for an extended period of time. I wanted a bag that would be versatile enough, yet provide that professional and personal look that I was looking for. This backpack definitely delivered on what I wanted and needed. The space inside with all the different pockets and storage areas is perfect for that busy work day or for the typical college student as well. There is plenty of room for your laptop, wireless mouse, USB Hub, chargers, tablet, file folders, or anything else that someone in business may take with them on a daily basis. The laptop area of the backpack in specific, has a really nice padded area for added protection for your laptop. It also has a strap to secure your laptop in the designated pocket for additional protection. The main compartment that houses your laptop also has additional pockets inside so you have plenty of storage for everything you would need. The front zipper pocket has many different compartments as well, for pens, a stylus, highlighters, business cards, or anything else that you would want quick access to during your work day or school day. Another nice feature of this backpack is the included USB Charging Port and Headphone Jack. All you simply need to do is purchase a portable charging bank, or use your existing one and plug it into the inside connection of the USB Charging Port (there is a pocket dedicated inside the backpack for this specifically). Then on the outside, you can plug in your USB charger cord and charge your phone throughout the day directly from your backpack. You can also place your phone inside your backpack and plug the provided 3mm headphone cord into your phone, then on the outside of your backpack you can plug in your headphones to the provided port and listen to music without having to hold your phone on you, this is especially nice if you are in a crowded area and do not want to risk theft of your device. The built in combination lock is a 3 digit combination style lock. It is built-in directly on the top of your backpack and is secured by placing your main compartment zippers into the lock. Once secured, it prevents that compartment from opening until you have unlocked it using the combination that you had programmed. The provided instructions are easy to follow for you to setup your own combination code. I have vigorously tested the lock, and it truly does seem to be really durable and would take a bit for your average thief to get into. It also gives you that 'deterrent' so that a thief won't even want to attempt to steal anything from your backpack because of the lock that is in place. In summary, if you are looking for a stylish and secured backpack to use for your business needs or for that typical college or even high school student, then look no further. This is definitely the option for you and at a price that most people can afford. I hope that this review will help someone with making their decision, I know that when I purchased this bag I had questions about the locking ability, storage, and the USB Port that the backpack had, so I am hoping I was able to answer someone else's questions prior to them making a purchase. Versatile Muti-featured Durable Pack

Purchased this pack because I have back issues and often have to carry medical equipment with me. I also spend half the year in a city where I almost exclusively ride the bus, so I wanted the added protection of being able to lock the main compartment of my backpack for security. I’ve been using it for over 6 months now and have been really surprised by how versatile it is. It has a number of different pockets in which I can stash specific items, so that everything is organized. There’s a dedicated key holder so that I don’t have to dig around for my keys when I’m at my City residence door or the car door in my other location. Additionally, all my electronics are securely protected in the main compartment when I’m on a plane or bus, and there are small pockets that can hold my earbud case and phone or even my iPad, laptop, Kindle, etc, with a dedicated inner pocket for a back up charger (a must have for long flights!). I can have any of these devices on and locked in the pack, but have wireless (or even wired) headphones on while using the bag. That’s extremely convenient. I also am the type of person who is constantly drinking water, so I was thrilled by the fact that there’s a cinch strap above the water bottle pocket that prevents my bottle from falling out. In fact, the number of cinch straps on the pack make it easy to adjust depending on the load and one’s body frame; I was a tad concerned about ordering a bag that was not women-specific, but this actually fits really well because of the thought out straps. Sometimes it is hard for me to reach around to grab the other side once I get one strap on (it can twist), but this seems to be load specific. Frankly, I’m really surprised by the quality and durability of this “off brand” backpack. I thought I’d have to pay a lot more to get all these features, but it turns out that this pack is a big win. I guess the only downside is that it doesn’t come in more colors, but I got the mixed grey and it’s turned out to be nice looking, doesn’t show stains, is water resistant, and adding a few bits of “flair” brightens it up without making it look unprofessional. I could see it being useful for anyone from a student to a traveler to a routine commuter. Definitely a plus if you’re a gadget person. Also would make for a great “bug out”/emergency pack given the price point and the space for battery backup.

Greatest Backpack Ever!

I am bad about leaving reviews, but after this backpack arrived I decided I had to immediately. I've tried so many backpacks for traveling that just aren't functional. I don't like to check luggage so I try to pack everything in my carry on. Usually my adidas and other name brand backpack is crammed full and the zippers pop open because they ate junk. NOT this one. I was looking for the largest, most functional, and MOST secure backpack I could find for international travel. This this is REALLY well made. High quality materials. I bought the biggest option. The layout is great. The lock on top works well. I LOVE the security cord that coils up tight in a small pocket, but stretches out to wrap around a secure object to lock the backpack so nobody can take it. There is an rfid secure pocket inside. There is so much storage capacity! It just keeps expanding with more pockets. There are little clips on the ends of the zippers to clip your zippers closed. It would take some noticeable effort to unzip them, so nobody could easily come up behind you and slip their hands in. The water bottle pocket has a stretch band to accommodate different sizes. The shoulder and lumbar padding is wonderful. The bottom of the large pocket has really plush bubble padding. There are inside pockets for your pens. There is a clip on the shoulder strap for your sunglasses. The laptop/tablet pocket is well padded but doesn't take up too much room. The luggage strap to secure it to your luggage handle is solid. There are straps and clips to squeeze it snug and secure. So many inside zipper pockets. The USB and Headphones Jack's perfectly positioned to plug in my phone. The wires inside to connect to my portable charger are long enough i can put my charger anywhere inside. There are nice pockets to store chargers and other devices. The material is all very well made. It feels like it would be waterproof but i haven't tested it yet. The zippers all have holes on the end so if you wanted to use a tsa lock on them you can. I can't say enough good things here. I LOVE THIS BACKPACK. I can't wait to use it on my next trip. You won't be disappointed with this one!
