Laptop stand holds laptop securely
The adjustable part of the laptop holder works well. The thumb screws tighten down sufficiently that the laptop slots don't open up during use. The stand is also stable enough that it can hold my laptop on end w/o danger of tipping over. At times I had problems with the stand pulling up with the laptop when I picked up the laptop. I cured that by attaching adhesive velcro to the bottom of the stand to hold it to the desk. Good product well constructed. All metal construction. nice padding in the slots protects the laptop. just for clarification, this review is for the "UGREEN 3-Slot Vertical Laptop Stand Holder Desk Compatible..." product.
