Tough, Waterproof, and Built for Real Adventures
I ordered the 100L Vault Duffel in hopes of getting a group together for kayak camping. This is a perfect choice. WATERPROOFING: The airtight zipper and welded seams are no joke. Thankfully they have included a hefty zipper pull because it is not easy to open due to the waterproof design. STORAGE & ORGANIZATION: It’s deceptively roomy. The 100L can hold my sleeping bag, hammock, camp stove, clothes, and gear with room to spare. The internal pockets are great for keeping essentials like a headlamp, charger, and first aid easy to grab. The two outside pockets are great for maps or phone. CARRY OPTIONS: The removable backpack straps are an added plus when you're hauling gear across rough terrain. The side handles and tie-down loops are great to secure it to a roof rack, kayak or even lashed it to an ATV. Lots of options for carrying or tie-down. LOCKING AIR VALVE: This feature is genius. It can be compressed to make space, or inflated when on the water to keep it buoyant. BUILD QUALITY: The 840D TPU is next-level tough. You can feel the quality the moment you touch it. Bottom line: If you’re serious about outdoor travel or need a reliable waterproof bag that can take a beating, this is it. Yes, it’s a bit expensive or an investment if you look at that way, but it is very nice. This bag will be with me on every future adventure.

Seriously built for serious conditions.
Serious bag for serious conditions. I would have loved to have had this bag back in the day! It's far better the any Military surplus gear we were using on water trips or jeep trips, Fall, Winter or Spring where most of our gear was stored exposed to weather. The 840D TPU material feels rubberized, totally waterproof and really sturdy. The seams look thick and are vulcanized neatly to the duffle. Carry handles are thick nylon, stitched strongly to nylon squares which are attached to a piece of the 840D and again neatly vulcanized in place. Carry straps are well built and are adaquate for the size of the duffle. IMO they are good for carrying short distances, getting gear down to the dock or maybe a couple miles up a trail. Not for long distance hiking. The zippers are a tough pull given the watertight construction but may loosen a bit with use. No promises though, this is really serious construction. You even get an air pressure valve for airplane travel or adding a bit of inflation to ensure it floats. Overall impression; nothing was skimped on the construction of this duffle. Only wish it was available 30-40 years ago.

This bag was VERY well thought out! It has a ton of room, and utilizes it well. It has plenty of pockets for organizing! It's sealed with top notch quality, so water is NOT getting in this bag! You can use it like a duffle, but also like a back pack thanks to the straps. This bag is a high quality bag, so it's not cheap, but for the money it feels very much worth it! I highly recommend!
