Customer reviews

Great product, happy with purchase, will address some issues from other reviews.
This is my first diffuser and I am very happy with it. In fact, I like it so much I bought a second one from this company. This is my personal honest opinion and I get a little frustrated seeing so many reviews on amazon from people who have received free or discounted products in exchange for reviews. I am interested in people like me who have spent their money and bought a product who want to give a review. First, the only issue I have had with this diffuser is that it is difficult to twist on and off when filling. Difficult, not impossible. If you get the hang of it you will figure out how it should go and it will be a little easier. It locks so that the oil doesn't spill, so you can't just twist it on and off like a water bottle cap. Secondly, I have used both high grade pure essential oils and those with lesser grade and the scents and fragrances can fill several rooms, especially the more potent ones. I have never had a problem with being able to smell the oils. Some will call for more drops than others but that is based on the fragrance of the oil. For example, I use more drops of lemon oil than lavender because the lavender has a really strong potent smell. If I put too much in I will have to turn it off more frequently because it's just too strong. Also, the diffuser has two settings. If you press the "on" button once the diffuser will run for about 30 seconds, shut off and then automatically turn back on. It will continue to do this on this setting. I don't want to assume this is what is happening with those who say it "stopped working" but it is possible. If you press that same button twice instead of once, the diffuser will run consistently until it runs out of water. I use both settings depending on how much fragrance I want or how long I want the water to last. The mist from my diffuser works perfectly fine. The other button is strictly for the lights. Sometimes I use them sometimes I don't. You can have the lights off and use just the diffuser. The "on" light stays on consistently. It is just a small red or green button depending on the mist setting so if you need complete darkness to sleep it may be a problem. I am very happy with the purchase. It does the job efficiently and is reasonably priced. The ones from the essential oil companies are twice to three times as much. I have one diffuser for the main area in the house and now a second one for the bedroom. I also think it could be used as a humidifier even without the oil. Glad I bought this.

Nice diffuser and very quiet.
I have never been into this kind of stuff but thought I would see if it might help with some sporadic but yet chronic nasal congestion. I am pretty sensitive to most odors and usually prefer unscented lotions and skin products so this was a bit of an experiment for me. As far as the diffuser itself, it seems to be nice. In a room with no drafts, it emits like a little cloud of cool smoke (mist), that is very subtle and dissipates into the air after 12 inches or so. It is very quiet and the colors are pastels. The tank holds approximately 100 ml water per cycle and has the option of either intermittent or continuous operation. Intermittent operates 30 seconds on, then 30 seconds off. One full tank of water will last either 3 or 6 hours, depending on which operational setting you select. It does automatically shut off when the tank is empty. The diffuser itself is a nice unit mostly suited for a 10x12 foot room, although I can smell slight aromas into adjoining rooms, depending on the type and amount of oils you are using. Personally, I can't say it has helped much with my nasal stuffiness but I am still experiment with different oils so we shall see. This review is about the diffuser and not essential oils so, bottom line, I like this diffuser. It does require some cleaning maintenance after 4 or 5 cycles. Basically, just rinsing things out with a gentle dish soap after every few days of use. Also, every now and then, when trying to unscrew the top from the base, it will tend to stick a bit but I think that this is more of just learning how to hold your tongue just right.........I don't take much off from this review for that. I don't use the color option but I can see where one could enjoy the ambience of thing. You have the option of selecting one single color or you can choose for the colors to morph thru all 7 shades. It can also be use as sort of a night light. All in all, with the right oil, I think I will use this for now, mostly in the winter months when the inside air is dry. Might just be more of a fad type thing but If I find just the right "air freshener" or if I can find some "magic elixir" to help relieve nasal stuffiness, I could see using this diffuser on a more regular bases.

Works very well, good value. (And a couple tips)
This diffuser works very well and for the price ($12.74 usd in November 2025) is a great value. It easily fills a room with scent and I think it would suffice for even a large space (like a big living room/kitchen or a studio apartment). The capacity is plenty big and since you should clean/rinse these every couple days anyway I think it’s the perfect size. This company (UrPower) makes three sizes of these I believe. I’ve used the largest one (500 mL capacity I think) for several years and it worked well also. My tips: - “Hidden” light color option: This unit has seven light color choices I think, the first press of the light button sets it to fade through all the possible colors in a loop. What I didn’t see in the user guide is that the next press stops the fade at whatever color it currently is on. Why this is good: It lets you use a color “in-between” the seven preset colors. (Long press as usual to turn the light off) - No remote can be a plus: This smallest version lacks the remote that the larger two include. Which you might see as a negative. But I have a remote controlled ceiling fan in my house and the remote for the 500 mL diffuser is on the same channel as the ceiling fan. So I’d turn the fan on or off and the settings would change on the larger diffuser. - Smaller is better?: For most residential uses I think this smallest size is plenty big. One drop of essential oil or scent in the full 100 mL is enough for me and is enough for a day or two of use. (Not 24hr/day use but enough to keep a large room nicely scented throughout the day).

Reliable, Relaxing, and Worth Every Penny!
I’ve been using the URPOWER 2nd Version Essential Oil Diffuser for a while now, and it has become one of my favorite little home essentials. The setup is super easy, just add water, a few drops of essential oil, and choose your mist mode. It starts working right away and fills the room with a gentle, consistent aroma without being overpowering. The adjustable mist feature is great depending on the size of the room or how strong you want the scent to be. I also love the auto shut-off, perfect for peace of mind if I forget to turn it off before bed. The LED light colors add a nice calming effect (you can pick one color or have them rotate), which makes it great for relaxation or even as a nightlight. It’s compact, quiet, and does exactly what it promises. For the price, the quality is excellent, it’s held up beautifully with daily use. I’d definitely recommend this diffuser for anyone looking to make their space feel a little more peaceful and spa-like. ✅ Helpful tip: Clean it once a week with a little vinegar and water to keep it working like new!
