Delicious, high quality, perfect for a DIY tea-of-the-month club setup!
I ran across this tea sampler when I was looking for a way to set up my very own, custom tea-of-the-month type setup. I couldn't find an affordable club I limed, so I ordered this tea sampler, the Vahdam black tea sampler, and a package of drawstring pouches (reviewed separately), and had my kids put each sampler in a bag. Every month, I'll have one of them pull a random pouch, and that's my tea for the month. I plan to review each sample individually as I try it. This month's random selection was the Darjeeling. I've never tried Darjeeling before, so I had no idea what to expect. I was absolutely blown away! It's a very lightly flavored tea, almost floral, with a little bit of a smoky undertaste. Absolutely delicious, very high quality, and definitely a sipping tea. My seven-year-old daughter (who is very picky) absolutely loved it. I plan to order a full size package of this for myself in the near future, and I'm incredibly excited to see what the next sample I try is like. The second sample from this assortment was the Earl Grey. I was a bit apprehensive, sunce I've tried a number if Earl Grey teas before, and never liked them because of the overwhelming bitterness of the bergamot. I was very pleased to try it and discover that there is only the slightest hint of bitter to the bergamot, and the citrus perfectly compliments the tea selected for this blend. It's very plesant, especially with a drizzle of honey, and I was very pleased to be able to finish my cup. While Earl Grey will never be one of my favorite blends, I am incredibly happy to find one that I can enjoy.

Ero alla ricerca di qualche tè particolare e di buona qualità, non le classiche bustine da supermercato per intenderci. Casualmente capito su questa selezione di tè, cosi decido di provarlo, un po titubante, nonostante fossero "solo" 10 assaggi di tè. Be, mi sono ricreduto ancor prima di ricevere il tè ed assaggiarlo. Prima ancora che ricevessi il pacco con il mio tè ho ricevuto una mail dall'azienda che lo produce, la quale spiegava un po la storia della loro azienda e la dedizione che ci mettono nel cercar di offrire un prodotto di alta qualità, da qui iniziai a capir di aver fatto un ottimo acquisto. Una volta ricevuto il pacco ed aperta la confezione si è invasi, in senso buono, da dei profumi inebrianti. All'interno della confezione più grossa ci sono 10 confezioni più piccoline, tutte con chiusura ermetica in modo da mantenere il gusto e profumo inalterato, che contengono le foglie di tè. Le foglie di tè, con il conseguente tè che se ne ricava, sono davvero di ottima qualità. Profumatissimo e buonissimo. Dato che è una raccolta di 10 tè, su ogni confezione c'è scritto il quantitativo di foglie da usare e anche a che temperatura dovrebbe essere l'acqua per un'infusione ottimale! Fantastico! Il tè più buono che abbia mai acquistato! Infatti ho subito acquistato l'altra selezione di tè assortiti! Assolutamente consigliato! Ottimo prodotto!

Incredible assortment of loose leaf, quality teas!
So I am a big fan of Keurig variety packs for coffees and have really enjoyed being able to try a wide assortment of brands, styles and flavors of coffee. I finally invested in some decent tea pots/cups/etc...so naturally I wanted some quality teas to try out with my gear. I had not heard of vahdam before, so it felt a but like a shot in the dark. I am extremely glad I did though because this package is everything I was looking for and then some. It runs the gamut between dark and light teas. Everything from your black teas, English breakfasts, chai, etc up to your lighter green, white and oolong teas. Not only is there a great assortment, there is also a great quality to the teas. I like to use a gaiwan to brew, which really gives me the chance to enjoy the quality in the teas, and the teas they chose really provide that quality (pictures provided). If you are looking for a reasonably priced way to try many different quality teas, this is really the way to go. I will be buying more products from Vahdam in the future.

Not only are these the freshest whole tea leaves I’ve ever used, the selection is amazing. Thea ware not “flavored” teas - the blends are composed only of full leaves and coarse ground spices. The best part was finding I love varieties I probably wouldn’t have picked out on their own. Every one was worth a repeat purchase. And at this price, share them with your friends! You get to try out a wide assortment and make a lot of cups from each (1 tsp per 6oz recommended, I use 2 tsp for a 16 oz mug. I found about 12-15 generous tsp per mini resealable bag). I’ve also run the tea strainer through a second mugful and noticed little difference. This very is high quality tea at a grocery store price.
