Multipurpose
I will never make little soufflé or crème brûlée, but I use these a lot. Need to heat up a little bit of spinach dip? Ramekin. A stable bowl of melted butter to dip a steamed artichoke in while watching TV? Ramekin. I have one on the nightstand to keep my earplugs in. The best thing I use it for is feeding the rehab squirrels. The ceramic retains heat to keep the formula warm long enough to finish feeding, and it is much more stable than the little espresso cup I previously used. They look nice with no blemishes in the ceramic or glaze. They go through the dishwasher well (and fit flat in the top rack of the dishwasher). It may have said not to send the lid through the dishwasher but I have done so multiple times with no evidence of warping. The lids are handy, and I sometimes use these just to store leftovers if it’s something small. They stack neatly and sit in front of my bowls front and center in the cabinet. I am very glad I bought them

These are attractive, functional, heavy ramekins in a classic white. They were just what I needed for baking pudding cakes. Beyond baking, they are functional for serving and storing. The air tight closure of the lids works better than I would have believed, with the tab on top breaking the seal and allowing the lids to be removed. They are well worth the price, as they are of very good quality while being inexpensive
