I picked up the Vans Women’s Knu Skool, and my son’s reaction basically told me everything I needed to know.. he loved them. No hesitation, no critique, just immediate approval, which is rare and therefore significant. These have that classic Vans streetwear style, but with a chunkier, more modern silhouette that makes them feel a bit more elevated than the standard look. The oversized laces and bold design give them a skate-inspired vibe that somehow manages to be both retro and current at the same time. The material is classic Vans quality- durable, well-made canvas and suede construction that feels built for regular wear and not just sitting pretty. They’ve got that familiar sturdy feel Vans is known for. Comfort-wise, they’re good for everyday wear with a padded collar for extra cushioning around the ankle. Arch support is… eh. It’s there in the “Vans has always been Vans” sense, but not something you’re buying these for. Fine for casual use, not for marathon-level standing. Cleaning is refreshingly low effort. They will pick up scuffs like any light-colored shoe, but honestly, nothing a Magic Eraser can’t handle, and they’re back to looking decent again in minutes. They also feel durable enough to handle daily teenage life.. walking, school, hanging out, repeat. Final verdict: Stylish, sturdy, easy to clean, and son-approved instantly. A solid everyday sneaker with classic Vans quality and just enough modern flair to feel current.

Nice but to heavy
I'm not sure if I'm going to return these because they're soooo heavy . The heaviest pair of sneakers I own ! I think they're very cute but didn't know that they weighed so much. And seem very stiff too. I bought the solid white in 7½.
