I bought this 10 inch pad for kids. The pad has a 10 inch display with touch screen. Furthermore, the protection case works well for kids' traveling or home. The pad can stand itself. The rubber enclosure prevent the accidental drops. With the lanyard on it, kids can carry or hold the pad easily. I can store videos in the extended SD cards or internal storage. Kids use front and back cameras to take their photos. I can also use parent controlled to screen out improper contents. I think this is a good choice for kids birthday gifts.
