Love my Vekkia lamps!
I haven’t tried the other products but I really love these Vekkia lamps. I’ve recommended them to fellow bookworms, puzzlers, crocheters and now YOU. Worth every penny! 😊❤️ —— Short story version —— My two lights (amber and bright): • still work perfectly fine. • can be low or high dim to various levels of brightness • hold a charge for several hours (or mine does anyway) • don’t take long to charge. I know it’s less than an hour but I never thought to time it haha I’ve alternated between my lights about 1-3 hours every night for the last 2 years. They last throughout the week, so I think about 5-7 hours each. I’ll keep track of times (use and charge) to update later. —————- Long Story Version ————- Long story: In 2020, my husband bought me a Vekkia light (the amber version) so I could read while he slept. I used it 1-3 hours every night for about 2 years and it still works!! Holds a long charge…my opinions anyway. I’m able to get through 3-4 nights before charging again. I loved my Vekkia amber light so much that I bought this brighter version in 2022 for doing puzzles and crocheting. I have used it every other night (alternating between the two lights) for 2 years. I get a few more hours of use, per week, than with the smaller amber light 😊

I’ve using it for about a year, this thing stays charged for forever (read for 20-60 hours depending on brightness using). Not kidding. I tested it using the dimmest setting and it lasted for weeks of 1-3 hourlong sessions of daily reading!! The charging cord it comes with takes 1.5-2 hours to charge from absolute 0 to 100. The 3 different light settings/types and the 3 brightnesses for each one is just perfect for any situation. You can do a dim yellow light for bedtime (this is my favorite) or a bright blueish one, or one in between. There is just the one button to click, you hold it to switch light types or click it to switch brightness. Super easy to use. Lastly, The double swivel whale tail fin style light or whatever the heck it is can, with some fun adjustments, reveal the entire page in a way that my teenage- hiding in my parent’s closet in the dark -self is seriously jealous of. Highly recommend. And if I remember, I think it was one of the cheapest ones I found. Perfection. Give it as an small token of love to a nerd friend that’s close to you and tell them it will enhance their reading if they use it. They will love you for it.

BEST book light to date
HIGHLY RECOMMEND - super flexible in how they can be used, very reliable, very adjustable, holding up really well so far, NO complaints. PRO'S - 1) 3 light colors - able to chose warm, cool or blended light color, 2) Able to choose 5 levels of light intensity (make that 10, if you consider that with the blended color BOTH warm and cool LED's light up (so your options include level 1 to 5 with either one or both sets of LED's active), 3) 2 headed light bars that can be moved fully together, fully apart, or any angle in between for more focused or wide-spread light, 4) Nicely flexible neck that stays-where-you-put-it, 5) Re-chargeable battery pack with USB-C cord, 6) Clamps on things like pencil cups or other desk top edges just as easily as a book cover, so it can be used to light up dark corners of desks or work tables (I do use 2 of these units in this way). CON's - A) Minor con, the selector switch is located at the base of the neck - older model had switches out where the light is. This is a minor con, in that you have to feel around a bit for the switch, more so than with older model, but totally not a big deal.

Klein und praktisch
Ich habe mir die Lampe gekauft, da ich im Bett immer gerne noch lese und meinen Partner nicht mit einer großen Lampe stören möchte. Diese Lampe jetzt ist klein, lässt sich mit dem ausklappbaren Endteil der Klemme auch noch an dickeren Büchern befestigen (ohne dass man ständig die Lampe neu anklemmen muss) und beleuchtet durch die verstellbaren 2 Leuchten auch beide Buchseiten. Von der Helligkeit ist sie sehr gut und ausreichend: ich kann damit alles lesen und ich bin Brillenträgerin und habe da ansonsten doch schon leichte Schwierigkeiten. Die Ladezeit betrug ca. 2 Stunden, von der Dauer her kann ich noch nichts sagen, da ich die Lampe erst 2x benutzt habe und jeweils knapp 1 Stunde gelesen habe (bis jetzt muss noch nichts nachgeladen werden) Fazit: für mich als Viel-Leser mit Buchmuffel-Freund ideal im Bett oder vor dem Fernseher (ohne den Anderen zu stören) :-)
