It grew on me.
I have to admit, I wasn't too crazy about this one at first. I had always used the EDT version, purchased through Ulta or direct from Versace, and I had hoped the EDP would be similar. Not quite. The EDP completely dispenses with the citrus top notes, which is why I like the EDT in the first place because the lime ads a light, playful feel to the overall scent profile. Not here though. The scent is powerfully floral on the first whiff, and the jasmine is the most noticeable, but not overly sweet or cloying. Good longevity, and the floral notes do linger well, but they quickly mellow out and allow the warm, earthy base to shine through without disappearing entirely. The finish notes are deep and musky. All in all, a delightful, well balanced bouquet that makes for a nice daily scent. At this price I practically bathe in the stuff and have never heard any comments about it being too heavy or overpowering, but you definitely get noticed. While it's marketed as a women's perfume, I would recommend it for anyone.

Gorgeous feminine perfume!
Versace Eros Pour Femme is a gorgeous and luxurious perfume. I absolutely LOVE it. It smells like a rich auntie covered in diamonds wearing a floor length fur walked in absolutely turned heads and had everyone she met leaning in to smell her 😍 it’s not a super loud perfume but has fantastic longevity. With my ph and skin chemistry the citrus in the opening is not sharp or prominent, it’s more of a sensual creamy white floral with creamy sandalwood and amber warmth at the base. This is such an easy daily wear and layers beautifully. I verified the authenticity of the bottle I received also. Very feminine and grown fragrance.
