Significantly better than others on here.
This is a very good product. First, the iPad clasps on with METAL bars instead of plastic (which is the part that broke on the other one I had). Second, it attaches onto the headboard with TWO clamps instead one one, so when you tap the screen, the whole thing is much more stable and doesn’t wiggle for 10 seconds. Third, the base has TWO holes you can put the arm into, and it bends from the base, from the middle of the arm, from the iPad’s mini arm, and you can adjust the iPad 360° with the ball socket thing. Fourth, the entire arm can freely twist left and right at the base so I don’t have to remove it at night before bed to not bonk my head into it when sitting up… I can simply twist the whole thing out of the way while keeping the iPad position the same. Fifth, the ball socket joint tightener actually has little handles to grip it better... I struggled getting it tight enough on the last one. My goodness this is really just so much better than the competitors in so many ways. Honestly even if this one breaks too I’m just gonna buy it again, but it’ll probably last years. The only negative thing I have to say about it is that the foam pads that prevent your headboard from getting scratched by the metal aren’t secured very much (see photo of them sliding off), but I added some superglue and restuck them and they’ve been perfect.

Excellent phone/tablet stand for hands-free
I bought this after buying two different "hands free" tablet holders with clamp bases. Unfortunately, neither of them worked in my space, so I decided I would need to bite the bullet and get a floor stand. This one looked like a good balance between inexpensive (especially with the coupon that seems to always be available) and quality. I am happy to say that it is just as good as I hoped. The base is quite heavy, making it unlikely to tip over, and the phone/tablet clamp is very strong--almost too strong. I can see someone with hand weakness having a bit of trouble taking their phone in and out. My only issue is one that is very specific to my setup: it is just sliiiiiiightly too tall. Luckily, that's easily remedied by connecting the main body directly to the base without the extra height pole. If you want a solid phone/tablet holder and your space makes a table/headboard connected one impossible, this is an excellent option.

Worth it
I am an avid reader, usually finishing 600 page books in 2-3 days. My husband keeps the house cold, so I like to be under covers. All that has lead me to this set up. I have the arm attached to my nightstand and it can swivel between my bed and my reading chair. It’s not always at a great angle, but I make it work. I also have a kindle page turner, because that’s how lazy I am. This helps my neck not have to look down at the book. I can also read lying flat and it’s amazing. I already have an adjustable bed. Feel like I’m going to be the happiest 80 year old with this set up. Pro: reading without looking down Adjustable Sturdy, holds kindle with cover no issue (I take off the cover only to attach the page turner) Easily removable when not in use Assembly was easy Con: Not as adjustable as some other arms but more stability for reader

I’m highly impressed with the quality, stability and reliability of this clamp on tablet holder. It took 2 minutes to install, instructions are clear and pictures show how pieces go together. VERY IMPORTANT !!! This stand attachment bracket has TWO padded bolts (not one as most models do) allowing better support for the stand and less stress to the surface where it’s attached. The holder weights 2.61 lbs, which was not indicated in its webpage description. It’s important to know so you can calculate efficiently how and where to install it. The clamp has great tension so it securely holds any mobile device, phone or tablet. Very good mobility to place it in any position one may need. I AM AND WILL CONTINUE RECOMMENDING THIS EXCELLENT BRACKET HOLDER !!!!
