Surpassed my expectations. Buy 2 (stereo)
I bought 2 because I wanted portable wireless (Bluetooth) stereo. I ordered them ion Black Friday and paid $130 for a pair, but they are easily worth the regular price. Pros: big sound, great bass, easy to pair the speakers to each other and then with my iPhone. Long battery life. It has USB out to charge a phone or power a USB powered laser lights....(Bliss lights) so potentially party sound and Party lights all in completely wireless set up! Cons: there is an EQ button that has 3 different pre-sets. When you press the button the sound stops for a couple of seconds which bugs me. And I can’t really tell that much difference in sound. It should just have a bass boost button.... dumb. The display LEDs look cheap, but that is a very minor thing. It comes with type C charging cables which are a little uncommon, I wish it had a more common type of cable. More: It doesn’t come with charging cubes, and because of the large battery size, you should use larger more powerful charging cubes. The cables that come with it seems to be high quality. The units do not seem to automatically shut off when no sound is being played through them. So far that’s not a problem for me, but potentially a problem should they never shut off and the batteries get run down and then they are needed to run not plugged into a charger. Conclusion: If you are a stalwart audiophile, these speakers probably aren’t for you, but other than that these babies are a steal at $75 each. I really recommend getting 2 of these and pair them for stereo. They are a little large and clunky, but that’s part of getting a bigger sound, especially bass, they have adjustable webbing carry handles which makes it easy enough to pick carry both in one hand to a different room or where ever. I own and have owned a bunch of Bluetooth speakers starting with the original JamBox in 2010 ($200 originally) I have worked some in pro-sound and have always been a sound-gear buff. I currently have 3 Bluetooth speaker set ups for different purposes. These speakers do exactly what I want them to do and more. I’ve had them for about a month and a half and used them in several situations including small outdoor social events and am very happy with them.

I am a 67 yr old 70’s classic rock music listener…and to this day I still like loud bass driven music like Pink Floyd. After much research and learning to understand bluetooth speaker specifications, and after reading many reviews, I purchased this W-King Model D8 portable bluetooth speaker for both indoor use and outdoor by my pool. I won’t have to worry about it getting splashed by my grandchildren since it is waterproof! I wanted something with better quality sound, especially bass sound, than previous bluetooth speakers I’ve purchased, but at an affordable price. I didn’t need anything flashy or with neon lights, and this W-King D8 fit that perfectly! I watched many of the review videos, and none of them, nor my own video I am including, does the bass boost sound any justice! I tried recording with my Iphone, Ipad and my GoPro13, and nothing could come close to resembling the clarity and crispness of the music I listen to, and especially the quality of it’s bass boost. As a mid-level range bluetooth speaker, I believe this one meets that standard quality for indoor/outdoor use. I love W-King D8’s design and appearance as smart looking and very durable. The seemingly compact size versus the sound that you hear when it is 3/4 to full volume is amazing! I only wish the volume could be turned up louder…but my wisdom tells me not to hasten the damage to my hearing!
