Temperature, humidity, wind speed, rainfall, and barometric pressure are all useful depending on what I’m doing outdoors. The wireless connection between the outdoor sensor and indoor display has been convenient because I don’t need to run a physical cable between the two locations. Placement is still important, though, since the usefulness of the readings depends on putting the outdoor sensors in an appropriate location rather than simply wherever they are easiest to mount. The color display is easy for me to read during normal indoor use. Having the measurements presented together makes it useful as something I can glance at rather than having to navigate through multiple screens. We live in a small town in the woods and our closest weather tower is 5-6 miles away and often their readings differ from what is actually occurring at our home.
