I followed the steps in the booklet, and within a few minutes the new sensor was showing up on the display. After that, it was just a matter of deciding where to put it. I ended up placing it under the patio roof so it’s protected from direct rain but still exposed to the outdoor air. Mounting it was simple. There’s a slot on the back, so I used a small screw to hang it on a wooden beam. It sits securely and doesn’t wobble. I’ve also tried setting it on a shelf indoors for a few days just to see how it worked inside, and it switched locations easily without needing to be reset.
