ho sempre avuto dei set da barbecue economici che non sono mai andati bene. mi sono stufato ed ho deciso di prendere qualcosa di serio. queste posate sono molto lunghe (perfette per il barbecue in quanto c'è meno rischio di scottarsi potendo tenere le mani più distanti dal fuoco), interamente in spesso acciaio inox con inserti in silicone ergonomico, antiscivolo ed isolante (sembrano essere molto resistenti e sono meno pesanti di quanto ci si aspetterebbe). la pinza ha un sistema di bloccaggio molto pratico e funzionale che fa anche da gancio per poterla appendere. nell'uso sono veramente comode! specialmente la pinza è fantastica, si riesce a prendere di tutto (dalle bistecche più grosse e pesanti alle verdure) senza rischio di far scivolare niente. la paletta è abbondante e molto comoda. oltretutto sono molto belli esteticamente, il che non guasta. insomma sono pienamente soddisfatto dell'acquisto (non so veramente come facevo prima senza questa pinza!) e li ricomprerei nonostante il prezzo decisamente alto (prezzo che è l'unico aspetto negativo a mio parere). do comunque le 5 stelle in quanto non sono mai riuscito a trovare delle pinze realmente fatte bene e funzionali...questo è un set definitivo e posso accettarne il prezzo

Worth every penny!

I had an old set of barbecue utensils, a spatula and some cheap tongs. The spatula worked ok but the tongs never did. I finally broke down and bought this Weber set after looking at some at a market that were $25.00. These look and feel much better and although appear very large in size don't feel that way when using. The extra length keeps you away from the heat and they manipulate very easily. The material is stamped steel which cleans easily. These should last quite a while as long as I don't leave them outside in the weather. I also figured that Weber being a leader in grills would also know how to design grilling utensils. These don't appear to be a mass produced cross marketed product that bears the name of several companies. Yes there are others out there that are even more expensive and many that are less. I stuck with the Weber name and their traditions.

Not just for Weber!

Anyone who grills would appreciate these tools. At first they appear a bit big and clumsy but don't let that stop you. They are the BEST grilling tools. Sturdy. Don't rust. Easy to clean-can even go in the dishwasher top rack. Long handles so you don't burn yourself. The burger flipper is large and holds a good sized burger or anything else heavy that you need to use it on. The tongs have long handles that can grasp anything with good "pinching power", even the delicate stuff. The silicone insert on the tongs is fantastic and the tongs will lock together for easy storage. Both items come with a stainless hanging loop for easy storage.
