Love the varied options
I got this for my husband and myself to give us options on how to wake up, and to provide soothing sounds to fall asleep with. This clock comes in its own box with a charging cable, power adapter, and directions. Basic setup is quick and easy...however, with there being so many options to pick from, from the sounds to the different color options, the actual setting up of your alarm could take a while. You have 30 sounds to pick from, from your traditional nature sounds like rain and waves, to ones made for meditation, to even musical ones and lullabies. And the color options are just as plentiful - you can pick one color, or even a fade of multiple colors, etc. Overall...I love it. The sound is fantastic and not muffled or tinny. I love that you have a lot of options so that you can get it customized to fit your specific needs easily. I do wish that it had a better battery life; it has to be plugged in to work, but when the power goes out, it goes into preservation mode and doesn't do much, if anything. But besides that, it has been great, and it has become a staple in our waking-up routine.

This White Noise/Sound Machine/Alarm Clock is great quality and multifunctional choice to really enhance your sleep and wake experience. There are lot of options to choose from in terms of white noise. They are pretty standard faire. Easy enough to scroll through. The wind-down and wakeup light is pretty handy. We sleep in a completely blacked out room, so the gradual brightening function really helps you into a gentle wake vs. waking up cold to an alarm. The wind-down could be pretty useful for some people who need to slow winddown, but it doesn't really fit out needs. One negative thing I will point out is that this clock is not good value for the money. We have a cabin in the woods where even subtle and inconsistent sounds of wildlife like birds and frogs can disturb guests. This sound machine has really helped. It offers a variety of settings that you can choose to suit your individual preferences. I happen to like white noise, but it has rain, ocean, and other sounds that suit others better. The consistent sound masks the inconsistent noises outside the windows yet doesn’t disturb sleep. In fact, it improves it. It also has a variety of lighting colors and features, the brightness can be adjusted or turned off, it has an alarm and other bells and whistles. It is easy to learn how to operate and is a good value.

I like how I can use the super irritating alarm or a more gentler one for a better wakeup. Previously, I used my iphone hooked up to a stand as an alarm, but it was always a pain trying to reach for it and figuring out the time in the middle of the night. I put this on the dimmest light and I can always just turn around and know what time it is and the alarm is super easy to set as well. I like how the noise gradually grows louder as well, making it easier to wake up instead of all at once.
