Great Feeder
This window feeder is such a good deal, and it’s SO much better looking, easier to fill and easier to clean than those clear plastic window feeders. It comes with these nice-looking square suction cups that stick so much better than the traditional circular ones. The kit includes a template to make it easier to mount them evenly. The feeder lifts right off the suction cups when you need to give the whole thing a good deep clean or wash your window, which is really nice. The tray lifts out of the feeder easily, which makes it super easy to fill and clean. The solar lights do work and they are very cute, but for anyone wondering, you can disable them. There is a switch. I keep the lights turned off on mine as I live in an apartment building and don’t want to disturb my neighbors. The only thing I would change about this feeder is the “DESGULLY” logo on the tray. I’m not a fan of prominent branding like that, especially when something isn’t a major name brand. But it’s easy to just turn the logo side so it’s facing the outside of my window. That way I don’t have to see it from my apartment. I paid 9.99 for this feeder back in September. I feel it was an excellent deal for something so attractive, so perfectly sized for my window and so convenient to fill and clean. I am disappointed to see that the feeder is no longer available. If it comes back in stock, I may buy a few more as gifts.

Much better that the plastic ones!
I had a plastic window bird feeder for 2 years. Unfortunately with the weather exposure and washing and cleaning, the plastic turned yellow and was all scratched up. So much so it looked more like an eyesore on my window. I looked for a while for a feeder that actually had a open backing, so that it is much easier to clean and also clearer to see the birds. This one fit the bill perfectly. It came with an adhesive template which really helped to guide where you want the sticky suction cups to go. And after leaving it on unweighted for 2 hours, I then placed the feeder in. Easy peacy, and sturdy. The only gripe I have is that the adhesive template itself was really sticky and the sticker left those white paper-tearaway marks when I removed it and I had to scrub it off with alcohol wipes. But apart from that, everything else went smoothly. It is so clear and easy to see the birds now and looks so much cleaner! The only problem is that since we can see them better, they can see us better too!! So we have to 'sneak' more subtly to the window so as to not scare them away. Hopefully in time they will be used to us peeking out at them. If you have a plastic bird feeder, switch to this one, you won't regret it!

This is one of my favorite gifts for People. I’ve had it for a couple years now and it still looks like it’s brand new. I have tons of birds. I got a two way Window Cleaning I put on so the cats can see out and the birds can’t see in and it’s my cat‘s favorite thing. We really enjoy seeing all the birds too. It also saves on bird seed because we put it on a window that’s pretty high up so the only thing that can get to it is birds.
