Customer reviews

WOW ! ! ! YOU WANT TO KNOW *EXACTLY* how good this is.... READ MY ENTIRE REVIEW
Lets just say I searched the entirety of the internet trying to find a DECENT headset for a REASONABLE price... I have purchased many types of JUST Headphones over the decades... I spent countless dollars on them and learned about how each "technical specification" relates to the overall sound....which to me is the most important factor for headphones... So.... to say the very least... I knew what I was looking for... This was my very 1st official "GAMING Headset" That I have purchased.... Yeah I have purchased other cheap regular headsets which were ok for what I needed them for.... but this time... I wanted to get something really nice... After searching far and wide... comparing price... to performance... to technical specifications... other reviews (both written and video)... I came accross these bad boyz!!! Most of the high end headsets that cost in the HUNDREDS of dollars just seamed waaaay to unfeasible to justify spending that kind of money on something that I wasn't sure If I would like... and besides... there are much less expensive head sets that have even better technical specifications and virtually identical functionality.... So.... after narrowing my search to about 10 different medium priced headsets and tons of reviews from Amazon, YouTube, even asking some advice of real life people who have purchased many "GAMING Headsets" of their own... THERE WAS BY FAR O N L Y O N E CLEAR WINNER.... The "VALORISE UG-08S" The reviews alone were astonishing how many people loved these head sets (NOW JUST LIKE ME) The price was JUST RIGHT... The quality of the manufacturing is VERY impressive.... it feels and looks like its put together with an incredible amount of precision and they are feel very durable. Some headsets in the past....(some not much less expensive than these)...... just always felt cheap....shotty....flimsy... like they could snap in half at any moment....terrible ear phone material (BY THE WAY.... NEVER EVER GET THOSE CRAPPY PLEATHER EAR CUPS...THEY SHRED VERY QUICKLY AND MOST YOU CAN'T EVEN REPLACE....) The VALORISE UG-08S has NONE OF THAT.... (not that i recommend doing this next thing....but you "could" throw these across the room at a wall and they will damage your wall before they damage the headset....lol) Build VERY durable The Ear cups are a VERY NICE breathable cloth like fabric that cover some ABSOLUTLEY AWESOME foam material underneath.... It feels great!!! Its thick enough to block out almost ANYTHING around you..... so they are PERFECT if you want isolated immersion into your games..... (AND ALSO....aside from just games.... THEY ARE EXCEPTION HEADPHONES if you just want to use them for just that...which I often do, when im just doing stuff around the house, like cleaning, etc.) BECAUSE OF ANOTHER AWESOME FEATURE.... which ive NEVER seen on any headset before.... The Microphone kinds "slides/tucks/rolls" up into the Headset itself....(kinda like a snail...i suppose) THIS IS SUCH A GREAT FEATURE ! ! ! so when I want the microphone out of the way and tucked in its like its not even there.... which works GREAT FOR ME cause I use these every day for listening to music, or just Bluetoothing them to ANYTHING AT ALL... (like my phone, smart TV, stereo,etc.).....BY THE WAY....THE SOUND IS FLAWLESS EVEN WITH BLUETOOTH CONNECTION (which natoriously for most every headphone/headset ive ever used....you lose a lot of quality of the sound....not with these things....they sound identical no matter how you connect them) ....oh forgot to mention the microphone.....sound quality is flawless... the flexible rubber sleaved wire where the mouth peice is attached is flexible, but sturdy so its conveint to be able to position the mic anywhere your need (cause everyone has a different preference where they like their mice) .......WHICH ALSO HAS A SEPERATE small spring loaded mute button on the side of the Ear muff which makes it easy to tell if your muted or live just by the feel of the button....(plus the mic has a small green light on the mouse peice itself so you can VISIBLY see just out of the corner of your eye whether or not your mic is also muted or live.....I SWEAR THEY THOUGHT OF FRIKKIN EVERYTHING WITH THIS HEADSET........and the distance on the Bluetooth is VERY VERY good... I can walk all the way accross my very large apartment into another room even on the opposite end....AND IT STILL WORKS!!! probably the longest bluetooth connection Ive ever seen on any device to be honest....AND THATS NOT EVEN THE BEST PART!!! You can connect the VALORISE UG-08S in 3 different ways... (1) STRAIGHT BLUETOOTH ....no special dongle required (WHICH BTW.... IT DOES COME WITH A DONGLE IF YOU PREFER THAT.... (2) WIRELESS CONNECTION ....which DOES obviously require the use of the dongle for WIRELESS MODE... which is no big deal...thats how all wireless devices work....BUT HERE'S THE THING.... (I love this part....) The wireless dongle comes as about a little over an inch from end to the beginning of where the USB Male part is.....BUT IT ALSO CAN SPLIT off and inside it has a USB-C Male end....so no matter what kinda device you need to plug it into.... its capable of BOTH.... I didnt even know about that until after I received the headset....which i thought was VERY COOL....EXTREMLY VERSATILE!!! (3) HARD WIRED 3.5mm (standard headphone jack) IT DOES COME WITH IT'S OWN 3.5mm cable but ABSOLUTLEY incredible.... I never new any headset or headphones had all 3 of these connection methods to use with ANYTHING YOU CAN IMAGINE!!! You can even use it to take phone calls with on your standard network phone, (plus VOIP calls obviously as well...like using Google Voice on your pc or any smart device) I dont use it for that....but YOU TOTALLY CAN ! ! !. The battery life last quite a long time considering how the VALORISE UG-08S functions at very high levels ALL ACCROSS THE BOARD.... The Charging plug is USB-C (THANK GAWD!!!!) EVERYTHING SHOULD BE USB-C now adays.... I CANNOT STAND "mini USB" plugs and cables.... BTW.... Even though it comes with its own charging "cable" you need to provide your own charging "adapter" which honestly.....is no big deal.... EVERYONE HAS ABOUT 20 DIFFERENT EXTRA PHONE OR DEVICE CHARGERS THEY ARENT EVEN USING.... BUT MAKE SURE YOU READ THE SPECS OF WHATEVER CHARGING ADAPTER YOUR PLANNING TO USE ! ! ! ! ! * * * ONLY USE a "5v 1,000ma/1.0a" or a "5v 2,000ma/2.0a" --- AT THE VERY MAX.... DO NOT GO ABOVE 2,000ma/2.0a * * * I ONLY MENTION THIS BECAUSE I FIGURED OUT IN A VERY TRAGIC WAY YEARS AGO ABOUT USING "EXACT POWER ADAPTER SPECIFICATIONS" (before i learned about how important that stuff is.... I blew up a $150 Guitar Multi FX pedal many years ago by using a plug that fit....but it was about 3,000ma/3.0a OVER the MAX tolerance for my poor BOSS Guitar FX Pedal...now buried very tragically in the backyard of a house i used to live back in the day....(MAN I MISS THAT PEDAL....is was soooo awesome) (*dries his tears*) .....ANYWAY * * * ALWAYS USE EXACT ELECTRIC POWER SPECIFICATIONS ON ANY ELECTRONIC DEVICE!!! It's got 7.1 surround sound....which sounds AMAZING!....but the best feature has got to be the sound quality.... THE AUDIO FIDELITY IS ABSOLUTLEY A #1 CHEIF PRIORITY FOR ME WHEN USING ANY HEADSET OR HEADPHONES.... I'm such a snob when it comes to headphones/headset when it comes to that... My philosophy: "IT HAS TO PERFORM TO MY ***EXACT*** AUDIO NEEDS ON....EVERY LEVEL...." (otherwise it's just straight garbage...... as my man NEGAN........DID SAY......." N O E X C E P T I O N S ! ! ! ! " if it doesn't sound CLEAN, CLEAR, and is capable of handling the highest of the "highs" (trebble) and the lowest of the "lows" (bass) without sounded "muffled" or in any way distorted..... I JUST WONT USE IT! PERIOD! This headset performs with 100% approval as far as MY PERSONAL BAR is......and I gotta tell you.... IF ITS GOOD ENOUGH FOR ME....ITS DEFINATLEY GOOD ENOUGH FOR ANYONE!!! I've only been using these for a very short time....and as long as they keep holding up the way they do right out of the box..... IM DEFINATLEY GETTING MORE THAN ONE PAIR OF THESE.... (speaking of the box....) the presentation is fantastic.... the box is VERY NICE.... its not just some flimsy cheap standard cardboard box (thats the thickness of a box of cereal) the box is very robust and well made....and when you open it up it set in there VERY NICELY and you can tell they put VERY SERIOUS EFFORT to make everything about this headset and even the packaging....which speaks volumes when you purchase an item from a company for the first time.... it tells you THEY ARE SERIOUS ABOUT MAKING A QUALITY PRODUCT....AND THEY TAKE PRIDE IN THEIR PRODUCTS.....respect!!!! IM VERY HAPPY WITH MY PURCHASE! I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THE VALORISE UG-08S TO ANYONE AND EVERYONE WHO WANTS A EXTREMLY WELL MADE AND HIGH PERFORMANCE HEADSET OR EVEN IF YOU JUST WANT TO USE IT FOR HEADPHONES TO LISTEN TO MUSIC OR WHATEVER.... *** UPDATE *** STILL WORKING PERFECTLY JUST LIKE IT WAS FRESH OUT THE BOX I have ordered a 2nd one of these....for someone....and i plan to order YET ANOTHER ONE (OR MORE) So I can keep extras at different places (work, one in my travel bag or backpack, one to keep as a backup in case something happens to my main one.....2 words......"WOMEN's SCORN".....I think you get the picture....lol : ) Ive been telling and showing a lot of people this headset....and some of them have already purchased their own and are just as happy with the headset as I am....and apparently like many other reviewers as well

Best-in-class for the $5-$250 range, but only $50 (35 on sale)???
I use a separate mic and haven't tested the mic but the headset audio sounds great and there's a ton of very well thought out design to this device: * Audio is fantastic, with excellent response range and clarity, smooth and sensitive drivers. The 7.1 simulated surround is great, enough to pacify me who is *incredibly* picky and won't usually deign to use a headset without literally 4 to 5 physical speakers in each cup. (i.e. ASUS ROG Centurion 7.1 et. al.). I recommend using Equalizer APO on windows for preferential tuning. * Incredible battery life, can charge (usb-c) while using, lasts probably at least 50 music-on hours in 7.1 mode using dongle with lights off and mic off, but I usually remember to plug it in every 2-3 days... takes less than 2 hours to charge from 0-100% though anyway... bluetooth mode with no lights or mic probably lasts over 100 hours. I rarely hear the low battery notice unless I've been especially neglectful. * Comprehensive connection options (wireless-dongle that works as usb-c or even usb-a with the built-in adapter, highly compatible bluetooth, even a 3.5mm jack!!) * Build quality is comfortable and simple, and quite durable. Cups rotate backward 90° and tilt just barely maybe <10°-- enough to conform to head. Cushions are comfortable and don't really give me tightness even on my fat head, while still being quite secure. My glasses arm digs into behind my ear a bit but that's just from using headphones in general, and less so with this headset. * While I don't use it, the microphone is a fishing-reel-gummy-arm style that retracts into the cup or pulls out and the arm is made of a material that holds to any position you adjust it to, so it can be right where you need it. Max pull-out is just barely past the corner of my mouth. As far as I tested the audio quality is more than acceptable, I just have a nice desktop mic I use. * The lighting is very low-key, just enough to be meaningful without being obnoxious; most importantly, can be toggled completely off with zero effort. The only running lights while I'm using it are the tiny power-on blue dot and tiny 7.1-on white dot, both at the bottom so essentially invisible from anywhere in the room. * It boggles my mind that these are sold at $50, that's mind-bogglingly cheap compared to competitors at this quality range. Frequently they're on sale for $35~ even, which is insane. When I ordered these because my last headset gave out, I was NOT expecting these to be more than "usable" until I found something up to my usual snuff, but I was very pleasantly surprised. As someone who's used many, many, many, *many* expensive headsets (I'm talking $200-$600 range) and quite a few cheap ones, this is hands down the best stereo headset I've come across that isn't some absurdly expensive audiophile device-- and it's so far above the average you would think it's similar to a $150-$200 sound. Except it also has better and more intelligent array of features than those tend to offer. Are they what I want to use? No. I want to use REAL 7.1 headsets... problem is that kind of thing isn't made anymore. I am incredibly picky about what I'm willing to use, and for me to have come to terms with companies not making what I want anymore, and effectively "settling" for 2.0 and me deciding that this is all I'm going to use from now on (short of some companies coming back with luxury REAL 7.1 products), I'm so confident in it that I've ordered 2 more of these headsets even though there's nothing wrong with mine and I don't estimate there ever will be; just in case *this* company stops making these great products and I somehow destroy my current ones. I can't imagine I would go use any other headset in the future unless some absolutely ridiculous and amazing thing comes out, but I don't expect that to happen so it's these for as long as they're made. There are only three misgivings I have, none of which really matter and are just some pondering: 1. My volume scroll wheel, possibly from laying on a pillow with it frequently, has an issue that cuts out the right cup audio if it's turned to exactly 100%... solution: turn to 99% and all is fine. Easy workaround, no stress; muscle memory fixes it in 1 second. The wheel doesn't easily adjust inadvertently, it's not difficult to turn or anything but unless you brush it pretty deliberately it's not gonna randomly change. 2. This has two buttons (and a physical mic toggle clicker): Power to play/pause/answer/hangup/reject and toggle dongle/bt. M to toggle 7.1 and lights. I don't really wish it had an extra button or two or feature for media forward/back but I could see it being a useful feature for some and I would probably use it if it had. 3. It'd be nice if the cups rotated vertically slightly more but honestly completely unnecessary and is just a personal preference thing; they rotate enough to conform to the head at any band-extension as-is so it's a non-issue.

Near perfect headset. They nailed it.
Um, what? GTFO here. Kick your BOSE, your ROGs and your SONYs to the side. I'll address the mic later but woof, the 7.1 experience. I almost put 7.1 in quotes, but I think you get a true 7.1 out of these. With little equalizer interaction. I like to melt into my music. It's advertised as a gaming headset, but, the mic is a tertiary function of the headset. It really is about the sound quality. I went straight dongle mode and it fleshed out perfectly. But of course you can BT with any device that supports Bluetooth. You can even connect Aux if you'd like. They even provide a threaded aux cord if you want to go straight into a monitor. All the buttons are located on the left ear muff besides one. The right button controls the toggle between standard studio and 7.1 and your headphone RGBs. I won't give you the full directions that's what the pamphlet is for. If you are not using the mic you only need to know about 4 buttons/hard presses. Takes about 10 minutes of wear to figure out. If you want to hear those footsteps before anyone else. Or the the heavy breath of someone rushing your spot...the rustle of trash being brushed aside...the door directly the your southwest. If you want pinpoint accuracy of that baddie, this ain't a bad option. Just remember to turn that 7.1 on before the match for maximum impact. They are incredibly comfortable, I've been sick and tired of headphones that are leather or pleather oriented. They crack or peel without constant attention. This headset is lightweight; the cushioned thin cloth material is of very high quality. The bevels in the band are very sensitive and contour fantastically. You can tell a lot of attention to detail was paid to head comfortability. I wore these one night for 6 hours straight without even remembering to take them off because I was listening to a concert. I FORGET they were on. The mic is very simplistic, which honestly is all it needs to be. It picked up my voice fine and my group heard me fine during my matches and my discord group had no trouble either (crisp and clean). It only extends to about corner lip, at least on the size of my head. There is also no worry about stupid wired mics in the way. it RETRACTS into the muff. How it does this without compromising sound quality is impressive. Battery life is also very impressive. I don't stream so I see no point in having the lights active on the headphones, so those get turned off every time I turn the headphones on (one annoyance). So far I've actively run them for about 17 hours with no warning of low battery. Given that's subjective usage, mainly music but some just video game stuff which can have a lot of minimal workload. Overall, very much recommend. Amazing sound quality buckled with comfort and affordability. These should easily cost triple what they are going for. Get them at this price while you can. Edit: Sign up for their warranty. It is legit and they will address ALL your concerns. If a muff comes off, or your mic spring spikes out, that's a faulty pair. They got you. There is a card in the box, just sign up for their lifetime guarantee customer service. All it takes is an email. I did it myself, it's real.

Insanely good for $40 — legit surprised
I wasn’t expecting much for $40, but these actually impressed me. THE GOOD -The sound quality is really solid for the price. No, it’s not on the level of flagship Sony or Apple headphones, but for music and gaming it absolutely holds its own. There’s a slight hollow feel to the sound at times, but it’s subtle and easy to ignore. -I mainly use these for World of Warcraft and chatting with friends/guildies on Discord, and they’ve been great. The 7.1 surround sound honestly surprised me — I thought it would be a gimmick, but it actually adds real depth. You can hear things around you in a way that makes the game more immersive. -Battery life is excellent. I started using them at 70% out of the box and played for about 5 hours with the headset's lights on… still at 70%. -Charging over USB-C is quick, too. -I also really like all the connection options: Bluetooth, USB-A dongle, USB-C dongle, or wired via 3.5mm. I’ve been using them with my Mac over Bluetooth and the connection has been super stable. -The biggest win for me is the mic. That’s why I bought these. My other headsets were picking up everything — fans, background noise, all of it. These have a noise-canceling mic that actually works. I tested it on Discord while standing right in front of a fan, and my friend said my voice was crystal clear with zero fan noise. That honestly blew me away, especially since my AirPods Pro 2 and Sony XM4 didn’t handle that nearly as well. -Customer support also deserves a shoutout. I had an issue where the headset wouldn’t turn off — it just stayed on no matter what. I reached out, and they responded quickly and sent a replacement. Seems like it was just a glitch, but they handled it really well. THE NOT-SO-GOOD -They are a bit chunky on the head. Not super heavy, but definitely noticeable. That said, they’re still comfortable — I’ve worn them for long sessions with no real issues other than my ears getting a little warm. -There’s no ANC in the headphones themselves (just on the mic), but the ear padding does a decent job blocking outside noise anyway. -Overall volume could be a bit louder, and while the sound is good, it’s not amazing — but again, for $40, it’s more than fair. Final thoughts: For the price, these are kind of a no-brainer. Great sound, excellent battery, tons of connection options, and a legitimately impressive noise-canceling mic. 5 stars for gaming headsets under $50.
