Low profile wireless mouse
Normally don’t mess with computer mice that need a doggle but as this is considered my emergency backup, thought I would give it a try since I still had an open USB port available. Normally only purchase blue tooth models. The thickness of the casing seems to be somewhat thinner than my other wireless mice. Not sure how many drops off the desk onto a hard surface it can handle? It is very light weight with the single AA battery contributing to a significant portion of the weight. The doggle will store withing the mouse itself for travel. It does appear to track very well. It’s low profile takes some getting used to as I have larger hands. The click touch is far more sensitive than I though and I find my middle finger accidentally resting on the right click button at times, erasing some of what I had written or drawn. Sure this would be much more appropriate for a woman’s small hand size? It is a good value for the money.

Decent backup USB mouse
Decent USB mouse. I wasn't expecting much for the price. Not surprisingly, it doesn't come with the battery. Yes, it has a cheap plastic-y feel. But the tracking is adequate for utilitarian use. I intend to use this mouse strictly as a backup, should my regular mouse fail for some quirky reason. This mouse has more than a reasonable value for the cost. Just don't expect to use it for anything requiring higher end precision like gaming. I haven't had it long enough to fairly evaluate how long a standard battery will last, but --as it won't be my everyday mouse-- I'm not terribly concerned. I probably won't use it for travel: #1: I don't know about its durability, and #2: I prefer a lower profile, slim mouse when I am on the go.
