Super Journal!
Super Journal! Cover is just as pretty as it looks in the photo. The notebook lays flat and gives you lots of room to write. The paper is smooth and ruled. There is a ribbon bookmark, but NO pocket in the front or back. If you like to use markers, paint, watercolors, or heavy inks like with fountain pens, etc. I can't say how the paper would hold up to that. It works very well with my normal ballpoint pen, however. This is a larger format, so be aware of that. After years of using standard, A5 journals (approx. 5" x 8"), I find this one is a refreshingly larger size (about 8" x 10"). When the spread is open, it feels even larger and opens possibilities for writing sketching, adding stickers, washi tape, etc. I have not yet "bulked" mine up with decorative stickers, etc., though, so I can't say yet how the journal will hold up to that. It does have a sewn (rather than glued) binding, which is my preference. A few of the flowers on the cover are a bit textured. The back cover is the same design without the word "Notes," and is completely smooth with no texturing. I just started using this journal a couple of weeks ago as a "Themed Journal" after eyeing it for some time in my "Saved for Later" cart. I hope you enjoy it as much as I am if you choose this one! the only journals I buy
I've been buying this same brand and size of journal for the past I don't know how many years, but ever since I discovered Eccolo, they are the only ones I buy. Great quality, lay flat easily for easy writing, good line spacing for larger handwriting, pretty thick pages, comfortable rounded corners... I just wish they had more cover designs without writing on them. I DESPISE words on the cover, and they pretty much only have a black one if I want a cover with nothing on it...and even that one is getting hard for me to find. I keep buying because of the quality and experience of use, but I hate the words on the cover. Would love to have elegant, beautiful, grown-up patterns and colors---with no words.

Good size for notes and durable cover makes it perfect to take everywhere.
I liked that the book lays fairly flat when open. Find that uncommon unless it’s a spiral bound notebook, so you can look at your notes while typing, or not lose your page if you have to run off to do something else. Beautiful design makes it suitable to any occasion.

Perfect size for a journal
This is a beautiful journal. It has thick pages so you don’t have to worry about ink bleeding through. It is well bound and has a good amount of pages. I like the size because it isn’t too small or too big. I will be purchasing another when I finish this one.
