This is why I got it!
My first impression when I open the box. This device is kind of premium. When I turned it on , i went right away to fiddle with the options and how amazed i was . 1. The lens shift blew my mind as I have not thought of this. I thought it was digital until I heard the mechanical sound of something shifting. 2.its bright!! Still a bit washed out with lights on but very forgiving and I can still tell what's going on. But once I hit up youtube, it showed me visuals I didn't know existed and expected. HDR10+ auto turned on for hdr videos, dolby vision and HLG which i didn't know was a thing! And the size is huge! Im trying to find ways to increase it more by adding distance but I'm still satisfy by reaching 128". 3. The sound!! Let's get real, there are better sounds out there if its dedicated but these sound speaker are no pushover either, but they sound great and clear. The sound quality is a bit step under the Harman Kardon Onyx Studio 9 Bluetooth Speaker quality but still impressive. 4.it comes with a case! Not the best secured case but it does its job if you handle it normally during short travel . Very plug and play and portable. It connects to bluetooth with no issues but I'm still having trouble understanding how to cast my phone with it. It doesnt have a generic cast app so you must download one yourself. And if it does, then i guess i simply dont know how to get to it or understand how it works. To be honest? 9 didn't give much effort to find it but I'm sure it can't be that difficult.

I'm blown away
This projector is fantastic. I was a little skeptical about buying a home projector, every one I've seen is pretty dim but this one is super bright(so bright actually turned down the brightness). My living room isn't very bright but during the day I can actually see the screen very well it's obviously a little washed out but still watchable. I have it on a pull down 120in screen and quality is amazing I have tons of 4k blu rays some hdr some not but man after a while I forgot I'm in my home and not at a theater. I have a surround sound system but honestly the inbuilt speaker is decent. The lens shift features is great for distortion free adjustment. But be warned it doesn't shift left to right very much most of the adjustment is up and down which does go quite far. I have my projector near the ceiling and my default the center of the image is probably at the top of the screen and I'm able to adjust it down without keystoneing it. I can't say anything on the "smart" features as I choose not to connect this device to the internet. I just have a pc and a blu ray player plugged into it. If you chose not to connect to the internet it's the closest thing Ive seen to a dumb TV interface I've seen in years

Very impressive
For 6 years i have had several cheap 1080p projectors claiming 2000-3000 ansi lumens and good contrast. I had no idea what i was missing out on. Picture is fantastic very sharp with good contrast. I use this as my main tv in my living room on 130 inch fixed frame white 1.2 gain screen and its plenty bright to watch sports or regular TV with some ambient light. Day time I close my curtains and its not even close to dark in the room and 50 to 70% brightness is totally fine. Alot of content is darker now days as far as movies go so dark scenes will be much better viewed at night or it may get washed out that goes with any projector. Im glad I didnt spring for the pro or max as the main difference is the brightness and this has plenty. Power usage and fan noise is also much lower than any of my previous projectors. Many custom settings as far as color space gama and temperature. Just do a little bit of reasurch ad you can get very accurate colors it is very capable. Vision master pro 2 is probably marginally better from many of the reviews and tests I have seen but its so close and it costs 1k more the base model is a no brainer if your on a budget.

So happy I took a chance on this brand
One of the best purchases I've ever made in my life. For the cost of a high-end soundbar, you get this wonderful gift. The amount of tech that is packed into it, I have no idea how they're turning a profit. Anyone who sang this is an entry level 4K has lofty expectations. The black levels it produces are phenomenal. At first I thought the audio was quiet and then I discovered you just have to adjust the volume on the remote. It already has replaced my LG meridian soundbar with its built in speaker. It's that good. You can position it just about anywhere in a room and digitally correct the image back to the screen. You can even make your own custom resolutions if you really want to, ultra widescreen? Nothing stopping you but your imagination. The only question is how well it will hold up. If it last 10 years I'll be very very very happy.
