I almost cancelled the order…
I got buyers remorse almost instantly, criticizing myself for an unnecessary splurge, and almost cancelled. I’m glad I didn’t. This is one of my better purchases in a while. No regrets. I have a few Stanleys, but nothing to offer an apples to apples comparison. A coffee cup that works admirably at keeping my coffee hit and a small one I use for my even “stronger” beverages, but other than that, I drink (or try to) plenty of water. So, I ordered this in hopes it would keep my water cold. It does. I can sleep a full sleep and wake up to cold water, or work a full 10.5 hours (my current shifts at this time) and come home to cold water and ice still in it. The lid, of course keeps things out of it and it’s spill resistant. Not that I’ve knocked it over yet, but I do shake it about a bit when I fill it to get it cold. Like I said, I do have the small Stanley for “stronger” beverages, so it’s a nice perk… just in case I one day do knock it over. Now, I haven’t subjected it to laboratory testing. I’ve been putting it to practical use since I got it. I can’t tell you the exact amount of time Ice will stay frozen and water (or whatever) will stay cold. I can tell you it depends on real world conditions. Obviously if you’re drinking and refilling with not so cold water, ice will melt as part of the process. So you will need to add more. Also, the duration seems to depend on how much you have in it. If you fill it full, coming back to some ice and cold water 24 hours later wouldn’t surprise me (but, again, I haven’t tested it, I can say that about 12-14.) Also, obviously, for those of you who require warning labels on your coffee to tell you it’s hot, you’re obviously not going to pour a room temperature beverage into it and expect it to get cold or hot. It also seems well made, but I’m not going to be using it as a hammer, so I hope *not* to test that, but, as I expect it to hold up, it may eventually happen and I suspect a simple drop won’t phase it. Certain surfaces might mar the finish, which will be unfortunate, as it’s rather nice. The straw will end up a quarter turn from where you start it at when you screw the cap on, so you can position it sorta where you want it.. or, at least at your preferred cardinal point. Overall, I like waking up to cold water, minimal risk of spills, and the fact that I don’t have to worry about a stray dog hair or whatever finding it’s way into it. So yeah… long story short, near instant buyers remorse gave way to total satisfaction. Worthwhile splurge.

Keeps Drinks Cold All Day – Worth Every Penny
I’ve been using the YETI Rambler 30 oz Travel Mug with Flip Straw Lid for a few weeks now, and it has quickly become my go-to tumbler. The stainless steel build feels solid and durable, and the vacuum insulation truly delivers — my iced coffee stays cold for hours, even when I leave it in a hot car. The flip straw lid is a game-changer. It’s easy to sip from without worrying about spills, and the straw design makes it perfect for water, iced drinks, or smoothies. Cleaning is straightforward too; both the mug and lid wash up easily without lingering odors. What I appreciate most is the size. At 30 oz, it holds enough to keep me hydrated through long workdays or road trips without constant refills. Despite the large capacity, it still fits in my car’s cup holder, which is a huge plus. If you’re looking for a rugged, reliable travel mug that actually lives up to its promises, this one is worth the investment. YETI nailed it again — highly recommend!

Perfect Cup
Perfect daily cup. Leak proof and easy to clean. Solid and durable but not too heavy. Keeps water ice cold. Handle is the proper size (unlike Stanleys). Color scheme looks great. Flip straw is convenient and safer than the straws Stanleys use. This is just better than the Stanleys overall but it is more expensive too.

Love this Yeti
This rambler has been thru a lot in the last month of me having it. It has one little scratch. When I dropped it in my house it dented the floor and stayed perfectly fine. Washing this is a breeze you can get to every nook and cranny for deep cleans. Also Spillproof!
