They got me
Never been into the YEI, Stanley cup hype train. I have very sensitive taste buds and can really taste plastic or metal contamination in water. I've had too many terrible metal cup and bottle experiences. I had read online that Stanley and Yeti don't have those issues. So I caught this on sale, liked the color and decided to go for it. WOW I am impressed. Solid designed, quality feel, refrigerator cold water didn't hit room temp for almost a day. The color is really appealing in person. Exactly the same as what you see online which is becoming harder to find in online listings today. I highly recommend this product. Just remember IT CANNOT GO IN THE FRDGE OR FREEER. that can ruin the vacuum inside the walls of the cup and make it far less effective. I have done it before with other double wall, vacuum sealed metal cups.

My first Yeti product
This is a very well constructed tumbler. In particular the handle join is almost invisible and the cap is fitted VERY tightly with its gasket. I have not tested this with hot liquid. If you get this 40oz size I strongly recommend you get it with the handle because it would almost be a 2 handed job to transport it from here to there and a full cup is probably close to 5 pounds. For me this is strictly house or truck use because of size/weight. It does keep ice well in crazy hot Florida weather while locked in the truck because plain old outside is just not hot enough. I hope you note the sarcasm there!

It’s great! I have a few other yeti products from the full size ice chest to other drink containers and this one doesn’t disappoint. I use this tumbler non stop. Keeps ice for hours before having to refill. Great size for me as well as I drink a lot of fluids throughout the day. It’s also more of a masculine shape than the one I got my gf from another company and I love the color. Cheers!
