Great Decanter
I purchased this decanter as a family Christmas gift and have used it only once so far. The decanter is elegant looking and does a great job of providing a lot of volume area for the wine to breath. Since I have used it only once it is difficult to rate its durability, thus the four star rating. Also since the decanter is glass and large, caution must be exercised when washing it because the soap can make any glass object a bit slippery. Also, I will need to purchase a specialized bottle brush to reach the bottom sides of the decanter due to shape. This is not a criticism of the decanter per say but rather just the nature of the size and shape of the decanter. I purchased this decanter because I liked the way it looks, thus I must deal with the consequence of that decision. I am just pointing these cleaning points so that you are aware of them. Also I gave a four star rating for "Easy to Clean" to highlight these cleaning concerns as you consider the purchase of this decanter. My wife is also very happy with the elegant look of the decanter. I am very happy with the purchase and look forward to using it frequently.

Perfect size & shape, no-spill lip
Perfect shape for serving. The last couple of ounces stay inside until the carafe is completely upside-down, so little danger of accidentally pouring trapped sediment. The lip is cut at an angle that prevents dripping very effectively. Use a 3" diameter wooden sphere as a stopper. No cleaning tools necessary, but I recommend getting a drying stand that will hold it upside-down. To clean, stuff a half-sheet of paper towel in with a little warm, soapy water and swish it around. The paper towel will remove any dried-on bits. When you pour out the water, while the bottle is inverted, grab a corner of the paper towel to pull it out.

Terrific, elegant, nonleaded wine decanter!
Classy looking, non leaded crystal, looks great and aerates wine perfectly. The decanter is surprisingly light which really helps once there's a full bottle of wine inside. It's only had a couple family dinners' worth of use but I appreciate that the Tritan crystal is virtually unbreakable - will look to use this regularly for nice family meals. Great product!
